AP Eigenpods

Aqua Patina (AP) Eigenpods Overview

Within the Aqua Patina (AP) ecosystem, multiple Eigenpods will be utilized as part of the staking infrastructure. Following recommendations from Eigenlayer, no single Eigenpod will exceed 8% of the total volume locked in the AP protocol. This approach helps manage risk by ensuring that the staking volume is distributed across multiple pods, enhancing the network’s resilience.

Initially, having multiple Eigenpods may not be feasible and will only be implemented as the total value locked (TVL) in AP approaches or exceeds 320,000 ETH. Each Eigenpod operates with a distinct risk and reward profile, providing a diversified approach to staking that aligns with various operational and security considerations.
